Need a website/web designer to set up my photography business. Tight budget?
Question by Talia W: Need a website/web designer to set up my photography business. Tight budget?
Hiya, as above im in need of my own website to offer wedding photography aswell as other photographic services. Im not looking for a highly techy site ie:flash everywhere, but would obviously like it to look proffessional and inspiring to potential clients.
I ahve tried using clikpic and another photographers site, yet these are still too confusing for my brain and would rather a know-it-all web designer had a go instead.
Im just starting out and recently graduated, so a tight budget is in place.
Would love to hear from any creators or anyone that can recommend someone.
Thanks in advance,
Talia

How do i bring in money with my photography business?
Question by lotus flower: How do i bring in money with my photography business?
Even if it’s just ten pounds. I need to bring in money with my photography business how do i do this?
It’s been a year since i started my photography business, i haven’t brought in a dime. I keep loosing money rather than acquiring. I know there are things that i’m doing wrong. What are they? I specialise in events, wedding photography, products, studio shoots. I’m either coming across people who just want me to do shoots for them for free, or my favourite line so far, “please can i borrow your camera?” What are key positive productive routes i can take. Why do you think my business is going so badly? IT’S BEEN A YEAR! Any tips i’d be extremely grateful for.Thankyou. Preferably people who have experience with running a business, a photographer, or both…PLEASE HELP.

Where can I get advice about starting my own business in the UK?
Question by khalidIbn: Where can I get advice about starting my own business in the UK?
I work a normal 9-5 office job, but I’d like to start doing wedding photography occasionally in my spare time.
Do I need to register as self-employed? Does anyone know any government body that can help me in setting all this up so I’m not breaking the law with regards to tax returns and other stuff I have no clue about.
@phil, You’d be suprised how many people don’t want to help potential competition.

If no one here answers you I suggest you call up a photography studio or an independent photographer and ask them. You’ll be surprised how many people are willing to help.
